The SkyScan EWS-PRO 2 is an advanced portable lightning detector designed to detect, qualify, filter and track dangerous storms actively producing cloud-to-ground lightning. The EWS-PRO 2 features a rugged self-contained case, it has the electronic sophistication to detect lightning over 40 miles away, and to accurately track a storm’s approach and departure with both it’s large LED visual alerts and its audible 105db alert horn. Not only does EWS-PRO 2 allow for an informed decision as to when to evacuate the area, it also informs you when it is safe in the area to resume operations or outdoor activities again.
